Terms of use

These plain-language terms apply to pwmsim.com and app.pwmsim.com. This version is dated October 30, 2026.

Cost and access

Without an account, PWMSim is free to use, importing LTspice schematics and SPICE netlists included, with no caps on the number of runs or on session time.

A free account adds the periodic steady state, saved measurements, the evidence report and opening KiCad schematics from your own files.

Paid levels add more, such as sweeps, loop gain, instruments, ideal switches and saving to your own storage. They are not on sale yet; you can ask to be told when they open. Prices and what each includes will be on this page before anything is charged.

What you may do

• Use the hosted app for any purpose, including commercial engineering work.
• Keep full ownership of your circuits, netlists, schematics, and results.

What you may not do

The app and solver are proprietary and closed source. Unless you have written permission, you may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer them. You may not remove the copyright notice.

These limits do not apply to your own files: project files and exported netlists are yours to use in other tools.

Accounts

• One account is for one person. Do not share a sign-in.
• You may delete your account at any time from the account page.
• The project may end an account that breaks these terms or attacks the service.
• If a level ends, its features stop. Your files do not: projects in this browser, in your folder or in your Drive, and every file you downloaded, stay yours and open at every level.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Simulation results are engineering inputs, not certifications. Before building hardware, check important results with your own measurements and existing tools. To the extent allowed by law, the project is not liable for damage caused by using the app or relying on its results.

If PWMSim gives a wrong answer for a supported feature, the correctness policy explains the response. The limits page lists what is supported today.

Availability

PWMSim is a side project hosted on a free service. The hosted app may change or be unavailable. Files you download remain yours, and opening them never requires an account.

Changes

These terms may change for future use. Updates are published on this page before they apply, with the date; signing in after a change asks you to accept the new version.
